Sanjo College of Nursing has an annual in-take of 60 students for B.Sc. Nursing. The college is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) as well as the Kerala Nursing and Midwifery Council (KNMC) and is affiliated to the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS).
Paalana Institute of Medical Science is the 300 bedded parent hospital of the Sanjo College of Nursing. Paalana is the first hospital in Palakkad with NABH (Pre) and NABL Accreditation. This multispecialty hospital has departments of General medicines & Modern diabetology, Toxicology, Cardiology, Neuro Surgery, Neurology, General & Laparoscopic Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Neonatology, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, ENT, Gastroenterology, Surgical Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Pulmonology, Urology, Ophthalmology, Dental, Maxillofacial Surgery, Dermatology, Pain & Palliative Care, Physiotherapy, Counselling, Psychiatry etc. Paalana has General ICU, Toxicology ICU, Surgical ICU, Neonatology ICU and CCU.
